Can international students work in Malaysia?

Foreign students may work part-time subject to certain terms and conditions:

		Students are allowed to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week during semester breaks, festive holidays and holidays longer than 7 days
		Students are allowed to work in the following sectors:
		Restaurants Petrol stations Mini-markets Hotels

-	Students must obtain prior approval from the college to work part time.
-	The Malaysian Immigration reserves the rights to approve or to reject an application of a foreign student to work.
